“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree… They will still bear fruit in old age.” — Psalm 92:12–14
Membership
Membership is open to all senior members of the church who have retired from their regular work. When SCF began, there were only 34 members; today the fellowship has grown to over 130 within ten years.
Ministry of Presence
Members make time to be with bereaved families in prayer and stand alongside those going through difficult seasons, offering comfort, encouragement, and hope in Christ.
Regular Gatherings
The Senior Christian Fellowship meets regularly for singing, prayer, testimonies, Bible meditation, and mutual support — creating space to share life and faith together.
Across Generations
SCF also connects with the wider church, including times of interaction with the youth and other fellowships, sharing wisdom, experience, and encouragement across generations.
Fellowship & Worship
Times of songs, prayer, short messages, and sharing that strengthen trust in God during the senior years and build deep friendships within the group.
Care & Visitation
Regular visits to the sick, home-bound, and those in hospital, bringing prayer, encouragement, and a tangible sense of the church’s love and concern.
Support & Mentoring
Listening, counselling, and informal mentoring — especially when meeting with younger members of the church — sharing life lessons and faith stories across generations.
